It has helped meeting other travellers at my hotel - It's been really sociable here. They put on a dinner on Sat night for all the guests. Above is me and Gavin (red tshirt) who is best described as a Scottish partner in crime. Also is Carlos and Henri from Peru and Javi - one of the guys who works at the hotel.
Everyone has been great to meet - there are people here from Spain, Peru, Uruguay, USA, Argentina , scotland and me from Australia. My limited Spanish is not quite enough to survive here just yet - but everyone has been helping me out, thankfully. I am investigating some intensive courses the next few days :-)
